There are several things to consider when putting together a central vacuum package. What type of unit you would like, what type of hose and attachment package, number and types of inlets, and whether or not you would like to do the installation yourself or have us do it. Oh, and of course picking out all the popular accessories such as a VacPan or a Car Care Kit.

Deciding how many inlets your home needs: The best way to figure out how many inlets your home will need is by taking a 30' piece of string or a measuring tape and have one person hold it at electrical inlet height and another person hold the other end to see how far you can reach with it. You want to make sure that you can reach even into the farthest corner of every room in the house with the hose, taking into account any large pieces of furniture in the room. Look for centrally located areas or places like hallways where you can reach several rooms from one inlet. If you are still in the building and planning process please feel free to stop in with a copy of your blue prints and we will help you decide where you would like to place your inlets.
